BioBridge Global Training Content Administrator in San Antonio, Texas
South Texas Blood & Tissue is an AABB-accredited blood bank. It operates nine donor centers in South Texas, distributing blood, plasma, platelets, and other components to regional hospitals and emergency first responders. It also provides starting materials to therapeutic developers, and clinical research services. Its apheresis center received FACT accreditation in 2022 for peripheral blood cellular therapy product collection. As an AATB-accredited tissue bank, it offers tissue recovery from living and deceased donors.

General Summary
Responsible for developing, maintaining, delivering and supporting the evaluation of technical and soft skill training and competency courses for Blood Donor Operations.
Responsible for entering and tracking training and competency records in BioBridge Global’s learning management system.
Will collaborate with subject matter experts and content specialists to create course content and identify the optimal training approach for end users.
Highlights the importance of promoting a positive donor experience within new and revised training materials.
Will offer suggestions for learning and development opportunities to Blood Donor Operations management, to include continuous process improvement ideas for collection activities and the integrating the importance of following Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) into agendas and lessons.

Major Duties and Responsibilities
Essential Tasks
Develop, maintain, deliver and support the evaluation of technical and soft skill training courses for Blood Donor Operations, to include training objectives, curriculum, and instructional strategies.
Edits and develops online learning materials.
Creates learning experiences and environments, and designs learning activities, assignments and assessment tools.
Trains trainers to administer the training material.
Prepares, maintains and tracks documents, rosters, logs and registers pertaining to Blood Donor Operations training and competency.
Accurately input and compile training data in the LMS and department spreadsheets.
Research information as requested.
Communicate with various departments.
Attend department meetings.
Maintain a good working relationship with coworkers and supervisors.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Non-Essential Tasks
Provide assistance to other departments as needed.
Education
Requires a high school diploma or general equivalency diploma.
Prefer sixty (60) hours from an accredited college or university or Associate Degree from an accredited college or university.
Experience
Requires two or more years of training, curriculum development, and/or instructional design experience.
Requires clerical training or experience.
Requires training experience.
Requires computer experience, to include Microsoft Office applications.
Knowledge
Must have a working knowledge and understanding of FDA, ISO and AABB regulations, as well as current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMPs).
Must have previous work experience with Microsoft Office, to include Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Must maintain knowledge of and perform according to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and policies.
