Our client, a leading construction firm, is seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist to join their growing team. In this role, you'll manage the accounts payable lifecycle by processing invoices, ensuring compliance, and fostering positive vendor relationships. Key Responsibilities:

• Process, match, and code a high volume of purchase orders, invoices, and credit card transactions accurately and in a timely manner.

• Verify and reconcile vendor statements to ensure completeness and accuracy of payments.

• Respond to vendor inquiries and resolve discrepancies while maintaining strong relationships.

• Prepare and perform payment runs, including checks, ACH transfers, and wire payments.

• Support month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring all A/P data is accurate and updated.

• Assist in maintaining compliance with company policies, tax regulations, and audit requirements.

• Collaborate with internal teams such as procurement and project management to address issues and improve workflow efficiency.

  Requirements

• At least 2-3 years of experience in accounts payable or a related financial role. Construction industry experience is a plus.

• Proficiency in accounting software systems like QuickBooks, SAP, or similar platforms.

• Strong understanding of A/P best practices, general accounting principles, and basic tax regulations.

• Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

• Strong communication and problem-solving abilities to resolve vendor issues effectively.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Office Suite tools.
