We are looking for a motivated and energetic Localization Project Manager to join the team dedicated to bringing Apple’s products to the world. Our team is responsible for producing print and digital documentation for Apple hardware and software in over 40 languages. This role requires close cross-functional collaboration with internal and external teams, including but not limited to project management, graphic design, engineering, translation, and regional localization QA teams. The fast-paced environment requires the ability to work autonomously and manage aggressive delivery schedules. We are looking for someone who is adaptable and can respond quickly, energetically, and enthusiastically to changes. Must have cross-functional communication skills and experience. Candidates should have excellent problem-solving and negotiation skills and a passion for improving processes and tools. The right mix of technical, organizational, and communication skills is the key to success. Attention to detail and a proven ability to manage priorities are essential.
Description
- Working cross-functionally to develop, communicate and maintain a schedule for localization efforts - Working with creative and technical DRIs to distill needs and priority of tools and content requests - Defining strategy/resource needs for assigned project - Coordinating with internal and external teams to align documentation efforts and create schedules that ensure high-quality results - Communicating project status to stakeholders and senior leadership - Identifying and managing schedule risks - Reconciling schedule conflicts by working with project stakeholders to establish priorities - Following up on all internationalization and localization issues - Maintaining workload and vendor estimated and actual spend data for assigned projects - Identify gaps or inefficiencies in project management tools and processes within and between teams and suggest improvements
Minimum Qualifications
Solid knowledge of internationalization and localization
Experience managing localized documentation or similar deliverables
Experience working cross-functionally to deliver results
A proven track record of successfully managing multiple complex projects concurrently
Experience with macOS, iOS, tvOS, visionOS, and watchOS
Key Qualifications

Knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud applications
Fluency in a second language

At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $129,600 and $236,300, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple’s discretionary employee stock programs.
