TECHNICAL AND COMMUNICATIVE SKILLS:

• Sound verbal and written communication skills

• Demonstrates an understanding of relevant internal and external shipping/receiving guidelines

• Basic computer skills to support operation of tracking applications and other related systems

Description:

Shipping/Receiving-Logistics-

• Receives all incoming goods, checks for accuracy against packing slips and prepares for delivery

• Enters all relevant information into electronic receiving system

• Maintains updated receiving files and follows-up with the Purchasing Department regarding receiving problems, as directed by supervisor

• Delivers and picks-up mail on a regular schedule as assigned

• Assists with the packaging of outbound freight for transfer to carriers, couriers and brokers

• Maintains a clean and safe work environment

• Performs other duties as assigned

• fork lift license and experience preferred

• Able to lift a minimum of 40 lbs

computer skills, shipping & receiving, chemical handling, Standard operating procedure, Laboratory, Safety, packager, forklift certified, forklift operation
