Description We are inviting applications for the role of Senior Technical Accountant based in San Diego, California. The individual in this role will play a crucial part in the financial close and reporting process, ensuring the accuracy and completeness of reporting, and adherence to accounting standards. The Senior Technical Accountant will consolidate financial data from multiple entities, prepare financial statements, and perform technical accounting research and analysis.

Responsibilities:

• Accurately consolidate financial data from various entities

• Ensure the completeness and accuracy of financial reporting

• Interpret accounting guidance to ensure compliance and appropriate accounting treatment of complex transactions

• Draft technical accounting memoranda to formalize conclusions

• Assist in implementing new accounting standards and reporting requirements as needed

• Evaluate and enhance workflow processes and procedures to increase accuracy and efficiency

• Maintain complete and accurate accounting records

• Work closely with other business partners to ensure compliance with accounting policies, procedures, and controls

• Support external service providers, such as auditors, by providing necessary documentation and explanations

• Ensure compliance with internal controls and assist in the implementation of control enhancements as necessary

• Perform any other responsibilities as assigned. Requirements

• Proven experience in General Ledger management and maintenance

• Proficiency in creating and managing Journal Entries

• Familiarity with large ERP software is a must

• Strong ability to perform Financial Reporting tasks

• Extensive knowledge and experience in Technical Accounting

• Must be a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), or currently in progress

• Demonstrated experience in Consolidations is required
