Description

We are in search of a proficient Accountant to join our team in San Francisco, California. The successful candidate will handle a variety of accounting tasks, such as processing Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable, performing Bank Reconciliations, and managing the General Ledger.

Responsibilities:

• Review and verify invoices, and sort, code and match them for Accounts Payable (AP) processing.

• Generate and send out invoices, carry out billing, collection and reporting activities according to specific deadlines for Accounts Receivable (AR).

• Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual Bank Reconciliations to ensure all transactions are recorded.

• Maintain the General Ledger, ensuring accuracy and effectiveness in all of our accounting tasks.

• Prepare and post monthly Journal Entries.

• Assist with Month End Close processes.

• Utilize accounting systems such as NetSuite, Oracle, QuickBooks, and SAP to streamline accounting tasks and procedures.

Requirements • Applicants must possess a strong understanding of Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) processes.

• Ability to perform bank reconciliations accurately and efficiently is required.

• Candidates should have experience maintaining and managing General Ledger.

• Proficiency in creating and managing Journal Entries is mandatory.

• Knowledge of Month End Close procedures is essential.

• Candidates must have experience working with NetSuite accounting software.

• Familiarity with Oracle Financial Systems is a must.

• Experience with QuickBooks is highly desirable.

• Proficiency in SAP software is an added advantage.
