Job Title: Electric Vehicle Technician

Are you passionate about electric vehicles and ready to make a difference? We're looking for a skilled Electric Vehicle Technician to join our dynamic team.

• Perform work as outlined on repair orders with efficiency and accuracy, adhering to company standards.

• Diagnose the cause of any malfunction and perform repairs using schematics and diagnostic equipment.

• Communicate with the parts department to obtain necessary parts.

• Save and tag parts of the job if under warranty or requested by the technical team.

• Examine assigned vehicles to determine if further safety or service work is required or recommended.

• Communicate with the shop foreman immediately if additional work is needed, if work outlined is not needed, or if repairs cannot be completed within the promised time.

• Document all work performed and recommended on the work order.

• Road test vehicles when required or refer to the shop foreman.

• Participate in manufacturer-sponsored training programs in Chandler, AZ.

• Keep abreast of manufacturer technical bulletins and recalls.

• Supervise the work of other technicians and provide guidance and mentorship.

• Report machinery defects or malfunctions to the supervisor.

• Notify the shop foreman immediately of any changes to the appearance or condition of the vehicle.

• Maintain a neat and clean shop area.

• Be accountable for all company-owned tools and manuals, returning them to their proper place in the same condition as received.

• Understand, keep abreast of, and comply with federal, state, and local regulations, such as hazardous waste disposal and OSHA Right-to-Know.

• Operate all tools and equipment in a safe manner.

• Report any safety issues immediately to leadership.

Qualifications:

• Previous Electric Vehicle experience.

• Electric Vehicle certification from ASE or an OEM.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $55.00/hr.
