We are seeking a meticulous and dedicated Accounts Payable Professional to join our client's San Jose, California, team. In this role, you will manage all aspects of accounts payable in the construction industry. The role is 100% onsite.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee all aspects of accounts payable within the property management industry

• Ensure accurate and efficient processing of customer credit applications

• Maintain detailed and accurate customer credit records

• Handle all customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly

• Monitor customer accounts and take necessary action when required

• Manage check runs and ensure all payments are made promptly

• Perform account reconciliation to keep financial records organized and accurate

• Code invoices accurately to ensure proper record-keeping

• Regularly update and maintain the data entry system

• Utilize Microsoft Excel for financial tracking and reporting purposes

Requirements • Minimum of 3 years of experience in an Accounts Payable role

• Proficient in account reconciliation and accounts payable (AP)

• Experience with check runs and coding invoices

• Strong data entry skills and ability to process invoices efficiently

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel

• Knowledge of the construction industry is a plus

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• High school diploma or equivalent required, Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field preferred

• Familiarity with accounting software and systems

• Ability to handle confidential information responsibly

• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to resolve discrepancies promptly

• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks according to urgency and importance

• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment

• Must be legally eligible to work in the specified location.
