Job Title: Structural Engineer

Job Description

We are seeking a Structural Engineer to provide project design and detailing, including plans, calculations, specifications, and estimates with moderate direction from management staff. You will perform structural analysis for both lateral (wind and seismic) and gravity systems for buildings comprised of steel, concrete, wood, or masonry. Additionally, you will produce a comprehensive set of building and/or component calculations tailored to the project type and jurisdiction.

Responsibilities

• Provide project design (e.g., drawing, detailing, specifications, calculations, processing, plans, estimates) under the direction of a management staff member.

• Produce accurate CAD work that meets appearance and CAD standards.

• Interact with clients and represent the company in a professional and courteous manner.

• Meet project budgets and deadlines.

Essential Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Architectural Engineering or Civil Engineering with a structural concentration.

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in structural engineering.

• Familiarity with building materials such as wood, steel, and concrete.

• Proficiency in AutoCAD.

• Experience with structural analysis software such as RISA 3D, Enercalc, and RAM Steel.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• DSA experience, particularly with K-12 projects.

• Experience with Revit.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $80000.00 - $138000.00
