Description We are in search of an Accounts Payable Specialist to become a part of our team in the Oil & Gas industry, located in San Pedro, California, 90731, United States. This role entails handling customer applications, maintaining customer records, and resolving customer inquiries meticulously. It also involves monitoring customer accounts and taking necessary actions.

Responsibilities:

• Efficiently process customer credit applications with precision.

• Maintain customer credit records accurately.

• Review, verify, and process invoices and expense reports for payment while ensuring adherence to company policies.

• Manage and update vendor records, resolve discrepancies, and address any inquiries or issues related to payments.

• Prepare and process payments, including electronic transfers, checks, and ACH transactions, in a timely manner.

• Reconcile accounts payable transactions, track outstanding payments, and ensure proper documentation.

• Assist with monthly and year-end closing processes, including generating reports and providing financial data as required.

• Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and relevant regulations related to accounts payable.

• Perform general ledger coding and weekly check runs.

• Organize and work in P21 ERP. Requirements • Proficiency in Check Runs

• Ability to Process Check Requests effectively

• Solid understanding of General Ledger

• Experience with Coding Invoices

• Familiarity with handling Approved Invoices

• Proficient in using Epicor ERP software in an Oil & Gas industry setting.
