Job Title: Bookkeeper

Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and reliable Bookkeeper to join our accounting team. In this role, you will be responsible for all daily accounting tasks, including preparing financial records and managing invoices. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, possesses a solid understanding of accounting principle, and is able to multitask and meet tight deadlines.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain financial records, including purchases, sales, receipts, and payments.

• Process accounts payable and receivable, depending on your role.

• Work closely with a team of accountants to manage financial functions, including accounts payable/receivable, bank reconciliations, and tax audits.

• Post financial transactions in appropriate account ledgers.

• Review and reconcile records as needed.

• Prepare checks, payments and bank deposits.

• Comply with federal, state, and company policies, procedures, and regulations.

• Aid in yearly preparation of budgets, financial reports, tax returns, and audits.

• Provide administrative support during budget preparation.

  Requirements

Qualifications:

• Proven bookkeeping experience.

• Strong knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Excel and QuickBooks.

• Experience in accounts payable and receivable, and general ledger.

• High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.

• Excellent data entry skills.

• Strong numerical skills and a basic understanding of statistics.
