Your Day to Day
As Assistant Manager, Front Office you will be one of the key leaders of our Resort, driving our Inspire Incredible Service Culture and overseeing all aspects of resort operations. We want to make our guests’ experiences truly memorable from the very first moment they set foot in our resort and in this role, you play an integral part in making this happen!
You will be responsible for the overall operation of the business where senior leadership and the Resort is not present, your day to day will involve;
Coaching and development of team around systems, service delivery, brand and standards
Guest service and problem resolution
Driving financial and soft targets and metrics
Managing the productivity and performance of the team, including payroll and leave
Seeking, monitoring and assessing guest feedback and putting into place detailed action plans focussed on enhancing the guest journey
Ensuring a safe and secure environment for guests and colleagues
Driving colleague engagement and brand pride across the Rooms Division
What we need from you:
Great communication and customer service skills
Strive for excellence in an eager and motivated manner
Possess the ability to work under pressure
Demonstrate exceptional problem solving capability
Ability to think outside the box to ensure exceptional guest service & delivery
A High School diploma / qualification. College and university degree would be a bonus
At least three years‘ experience in an upscale hotel / equivalent environment as a Duty Manager or related discipline
Fluent English and local language are essential, any additional languages would be great
You must also hold the appropriate work rights to work within Australia and be flexible to work weekends and evenings as required.

Salary of $73,347.50, plus Superannuation on a permanent full-time contract with rostered hours of 38 hours per week plus reasonable additional overtime.
