Nvidia Manager, Product Development Engineering in Santa Clara, California

NVIDIA is searching for a highly motivated, creative manager with experience in Product Development Engineering to join the GPU PDE team. As someone who is hardworking and passionate about their work, you will manage a team of GPU NPI PDE engineers and manage to launch our latest GPU to the market. The candidate should demonstrate the ability to drive complex problem resolution through analytical and complex problem solving techniques.

What you’ll be doing:

  • As part of Operations Engineering, you will lead a team that designs, optimizes and implements efficient silicon test processes for our leading-edge GPU products

  • Lead discussion with feature designer, system, DFT, and test engineers to launch or improve characterization methodologies

  • Define product test requirements and drive NPI from initial bring-up, validation, and characterization for smooth production ramp at worldwide manufacturing sites

  • Continuously mentor and develop engineers in your team

  • Improve and architect PDE tools and engineering workflows to improve engineering productivity

  • Build strategic relationships with system, DFT, marketing and reliability engineering to improve product specification, coverage and feature design characterization

What we need to see:

  • Master’s in electrical engineering or equivalent experience

  • 7+ overall years of direct PDE experience with 3+ years of managing a team

  • Consistent track record of leading advanced-technology ICs through all life cycle phases - from design to high-volume manufacturing

  • Hands-on experience with GPU feature characterization

  • Hands-on experience with data mining and data analysis using statistical tools

  • Detailed understanding of structural testing (SCAN, BIST, etc.)

  • Excellent verbal/written communication skills and ability to effectively lead cross functional teams to solve complex problems

  • Deep problem-solving skills and strong sense of ownership and urgency in resolving unpredicted technical issues

  • Ability to foster a creative and collaborative climate with multi-functional teams, while providing leadership

The base salary range is 188,000 USD - 299,000 USD. Your base salary will be determined based on your location, experience, and the pay of employees in similar positions.
