Nvidia Silicon Product Definition Engineer in Santa Clara, California

As part of the Silicon Solutions Team, we are seeking a Product Definition Engineer. Our team delivers groundbreaking solutions to productize NVIDIA's chips in consumer, professional, server, mobile, and automotive markets.
What you'll be doing:
Demonstrate your programming background to manage & manipulate complex datasets for product evaluations
Use our proprietary SW tool infrastructure to assess performance, power, yield, and quality improvements for NVIDIA's family of chips and products.
Identify performance and power-limiting constraints and drive product-specific customizations.
Collaborate with multi-functional teams to drive silicon and system product features to production.
Work alongside system architects, chip and board designers, software/firmware engineers, HW/SW applications engineering, process/reliability specialists, ATE engineers, product managers, sales, and operations in a creative, high-energy work environment to bring industry-defining products to market.
What we need to see:
BS or MS in EE, CE, CS, Systems Engineering, or equivalent experience
Minimum of 3+ years of experience in product performance and power evaluations
Experience in Python, Perl, and JMP
Experience with data analysis and statistics
Exposure to silicon bringup and validation, frequency and power characterization, product analysis, and optimization
Knowledge in critical path analysis, power/performance analysis, process technologies, and transistor/device physics
Knowledge in digital design, circuit analysis, computer architecture, and CPU/GPU/SoC architecture

The base salary range is 108,000 USD - 212,750 USD. Your base salary will be determined based on your location, experience, and the pay of employees in similar positions.
