Your Career

We are seeking a forward-thinking, enthusiastic, and experienced Sr Manager, Order Operations Channel Stocking. This role will drive programs and processes that deliver high-impact solutions for our internal teams and stocking customers. You will have the opportunity to provide significant value to the organization, thereby impacting the success of our company at large. You will be responsible for leading a team and participating in the development and delivery of our Distribution Stocking program. You will have an active role in the CPFR process across our distributors and multiple cross-functional teams at Palo Alto Networks. This position relies on an understanding of sales, operations processes as well as the processes of our distributors.

Your Impact

  • Manage Distribution stocking program, leading the engagement and program execution with our distributors, acting as the liaison between sales and operation related elements related to the program

  • Manage cross-functional stocking program items with operations, order fulfillment, finance and sales teams.

  • Drive CPFR planning activities with the sales team and distribution accounts.

  • Ability to collaborate on CPFR analysis for sales and item trends, order trends and inputs for forecasting and replenishment.

  • Collaborate with planning teams to communicate orders, forecast and product availability along with order lead times.

  • Own the Reconciliation process of Sell Through and credit memo processing (ship and claim)

  • Oversee Order Operations Administration to ensure adherence to process flows and SOX regulations

  • Partner with Sales, Finance, and Accounting to drive execution of quarterly shipment targets and WOS.

  • Provide on-going reporting and dialogue around inventory availability, and progress towards forecasted units shipped, and sold through.

  • Provide expertise to troubleshooting issues due to manual processes.

  • Enable new distributor onboarding - materials, training, processes and procedures, initiating agreements/contracts, etc.

  • Provide feedback from distributor business lines regarding best practices

  • Develop and apply data analysis to identify areas of improvement; create programs and processes that help close gaps

Your Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree or 5+ years experience in CPFR, Supply Chain, or related business

  • Distribution or retail experience managing multiple accounts

  • Strong organizational, time management, and multitasking skills

  • Strategic thinking, business analysis, problem-solving, collaboration, presentation, and communications skills

  • Proven experience in managing and scaling operational teams.

  • Strong knowledge of the Order to Cash process flows and SOX requirements

  • Ability to coordinate programs cross-functionally to deliver on-time measurable results

  • Experience building process documentation and training internal/external stakeholders as needed

  • Knowledge and experience with common business applications and tools, such as Salesforce.com, G Suite, Smartsheets, Jira, etc. (Google Sheets / MS Excel experience a must)

  • Strong written and spoken communication skills in English required

  • Able to work independently in a fast-paced growth environment

Compensation Disclosure

The compensation offered for this position will depend on qualifications, experience, and work location. For candidates who receive an offer at the posted level, the starting base salary (for non-sales roles) or base salary + commission target (for sales/commissioned roles) is expected to be between $133,000 - $214,500/YR.
