Robert Half Administrative Assistant in Santa Maria, California

Description We are looking to bring on board an Administrative Assistant in Santa Maria, California. In this role, you will be responsible for managing inbound calls, providing excellent customer service, and handling data entry tasks. This is a long-term contract employment opportunity.

Responsibilities:

• Answering inbound calls promptly and professionally, ensuring all queries are addressed

• Providing top-notch customer service to customers, resolving issues and answering queries

• Efficiently managing data entry tasks, ensuring all customer information is accurately recorded

• Handling email correspondence professionally, responding to emails in a timely manner

• Learning and utilizing our new permit application database for efficient operations

• Assisting with the intake and issuance of permit applications

• Scheduling appointments as required, ensuring no clashes and optimal time management

• Utilizing Microsoft Office tools, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word for various administrative tasks

• Performing general administrative tasks as needed to support the smooth running of operations

• Handling both inbound and outbound calls as needed, maintaining a professional and friendly demeanor at all times. Requirements • Excellent ability to answer inbound calls and handle customer queries efficiently.

• Strong customer service skills and ability to provide a high level of service.

• Proficient in data entry tasks and able to maintain accuracy in high-volume environments.

• Skilled in email correspondence, with an ability to respond promptly and professionally to all emails.

• Experience in handling both inbound and outbound calls.

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, with the ability to create spreadsheets and perform complex calculations.

• Knowledge of Microsoft Outlook for managing emails, schedules, contacts, and tasks.

• Familiarity with Microsoft PowerPoint for creating effective presentations.

• Proficient in Microsoft Word for creating documents, reports, and letters.

• Ability to schedule appointments and manage calendars efficiently.
