Description:

An established organization with a focus on investments and growth strategies is seeking a professional for a human resources role. The company is involved in various sectors, offering dynamic opportunities and fostering a collaborative environment. Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain awareness of trends in human resources and ensure the organization complies with all relevant employment laws.

• Provide day-to-day support and assistance to employees on HR-related matters.

• Oversee benefits administration, including annual enrollment processes and related programs.

• Identify areas to enhance processes and office operations; manage vendor research and recommendations.

• Manage onboarding and offboarding activities, including orientation programs for new hires.

• Support recruitment and interview processes for administrative teams, ensuring adequate coverage.

• Conduct employee background checks, manage employment verifications, and maintain organizational resources (directories, charts).

• Facilitate performance reviews and assist in updating job descriptions across the organization.

• Oversee office operations in partnership with property management and external vendors.

• Collaborate with leadership to update and implement company policies.

• Manage HR systems and complete additional projects as needed.

Qualifications:

• 3–6 years of human resources experience.

• Proficiency in HR systems and Microsoft Office applications.

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent certification preferred.

• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and a focus on quality.

Requirements

• Proficiency in using HR software

• Experience in auditing HR practices and procedures

• Ability to conduct thorough background checks on potential employees

• Familiarity with benefit functions, including administration and management of employee benefits

• Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to handle queries and complaints in a detail-oriented manner

• HR degree or relevant experience in a similar role is required

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information

• Good understanding of HR laws and regulations, specifically California labor laws
