Position Overview:
The Angiography Technologist/ Cardiac Cath Technologist provides technical services and support duties in the areas of invasive diagnostic, interventional cardiac and peripheral procedures performed in the Cardiac Cath Lab for adolescent, adult and geriatric patients. The incumbent operates and is accountable for sophisticated, expensive, computerized equipment in providing quality patient care, resulting in accurate diagnosis and optimal treatment of congenital or acquired heart disease. The incumbent performs patient care duties associated with invasive procedures while maintaining maximum patient safety and comfort on all cases. This position functions in a highly specialized and unique area and must be available to participate in a varying work schedule, as part of the on-call rotation, on weekdays, weekends and holidays.

EDUCATION
Equivalent experience will be accepted in lieu of the required degree or diploma.
Associate's: A.A. degree required in physical sciences or healthcare-related sciences, or A.S. degree from an accredited school of Cardiovascular Technology with emphasis on invasive Cardiac and Vascular Technology.
Associate's: An A.A. degree from an accredited school of Radiology Technology.
CERTIFICATION & LICENSURE:
CRT-Certified Radiologic Technologist Upon Hire
ARRT - Radiography - American Register of Radiologic Technologists Upon Hire
RHF - Radiology Fluoroscopy within 180 days if required at the affiliate
BLS- Basic Life Support
ACLS- Advanced Cardiac Life Support
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE AS TYPICALLY ACQUIRED IN:
Two years in the cardiac Cath lab and/or Interventional Radiology.
Minimum of 3-5 years recent clinical experience/background in the areas of hemodynamic monitoring, ECG interpretation, scrubbing invasive cardiac procedures in an invasive Cath Lab is preferred.
Experience in an invasive Vascular Lab without Cath Lab experience will be considered.

Pay Range is $58.90 to $73.22 / hour
The salary range for this role may vary above or below the posted range as determined by location. This range has not been adjusted for any specific geographic differential applicable by area where the position may be filled. Compensation takes into account several factors including but not limited to a candidate’s experience, education, skills, licensure and certifications, department equity, training and organizational needs.
