Learning & Development Supervisor

As the Learning & Development Supervisor, you will play a key role in shaping the training and development programs for the new team at the soon-to-open InterContinental Sapporo (October 2025). You will report to the Cluster HR Director and work closely with various department heads to ensure employees receive the training and support needed to excel in their roles. The position is planned to start in June/July 2025.

Tasks:

Develop and implement training programs for new hires and existing employees following IHG Headquarter guidance.

Conduct orientation sessions and oversee the onboarding training process for all new team members.

Organize and facilitate training workshops, e-learning modules, and other learning initiatives.

Ensure compliance with IHG training standards and adapt global learning strategies to the hotel's specific needs.

Partner with department managers to assess training needs and recommend learning solutions.

Maintain training records and track employee development progress.

Support employee engagement and recognition programs in collaboration with the HR team.

Assist with job fairs and career development events as needed.

Provide coaching and support to employees to foster a culture of continuous learning and professional growth.

Collaborate with external training providers and ensure the effectiveness of training programs.

Handle occasional learning and development-related tasks across cluster hotels as required.

Support employees in their journey, through MyTalent and Performance Management.

What we need from you:

Knowledge of learning and development strategies, adult learning principles, and training facilitation.

Experience in employee training and development, preferably in the hospitality industry.

Experience in HR or L&D within a hotel setting is a plus.

Mandatory business-level proficiency in both English and Japanese.

Strong communication and presentation skills.

A proactive and service-oriented mindset with the ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams.

ラーニング＆ディベロップメント・スーパーバイザーとして、2025年10月開業予定のインターコンチネンタル札幌の新しいチームの研修・育成プログラムの構築において重要な役割を担っていただきます。クラスターHRディレクターに報告し、各部門の責任者と密接に連携しながら、従業員が自身の役割で成功するために必要な研修とサポートを提供します。

ポジション開始時期: 2025年6月または7月

業務内容:

• IHG本社のガイダンスに従い、新入社員および既存社員向けの研修プログラムを開発し、実施。

• オリエンテーションの実施および、新入社員のオンボーディング研修の監督。

• 研修ワークショップ、eラーニングモジュール、その他の学習プログラムの企画と実施。

• IHGの研修基準を遵守し、グローバルな学習戦略をホテルの特定のニーズに適用。

• 各部門のマネージャーと協力し、研修ニーズを評価し、最適な学習ソリューションを提案。

• 研修記録の管理および従業員の成長進捗の追跡。

• HRチームと協力し、従業員のエンゲージメントおよび表彰プログラムを支援。

• 必要に応じて就職フェアやキャリア開発イベントをサポート。

• 従業員の継続的な学習文化と専門的な成長を促進するためのコーチングおよびサポートを提供。

• 外部の研修提供者と連携し、研修プログラムの効果を確保。

• クラスター内のホテルに関連する学習および開発業務を適宜対応。

• MyTalentおよびパフォーマンス・マネジメントを通じて従業員の成長を支援。

求めるスキル・経験:

• 学習・育成戦略、成人学習の原則、研修ファシリテーションの知識。

• 従業員の研修・育成の経験（特にホスピタリティ業界での経験が望ましい）。

• ホテル業界でのHRまたはL&Dの経験があれば尚可。

• ビジネスレベルの英語および日本語の必須能力。

• 優れたコミュニケーション能力およびプレゼンテーションスキル。

• 積極的でサービス志向のマインドを持ち、多様なチームと協力できる能力。
