Our company is Dales Superstore, an industry leader in the Automotive Diesel and Gas Aftermarket Parts Market. We are seeking a skilled Data Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for data and analytics, with expertise in SQL, Tableau, and Power BI. To be successful in this role, you will need to be a goal oriented problem solver.

Essential Duties:

• Analyze complex data sets to provide insights and recommendations

• Implement and improve our databases, data collection systems, data analytics, and other strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and quality

• Interpret data, analyze results using statistical techniques, and provide ongoing reports

• Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets

• Work closely with management to prioritize business and information needs

• Locate and define new process improvement opportunities

• Working within SQL and non-SQL databases

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Data Analytics or Data Science

• Proficiency in SQL for querying databases (Required)

• 3+ years of experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI

• Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy

• Knowledge of ETL processes and tools

• Familiarity with project management methodologies like Agile

• Ability to work on servers for data extraction and analysis

• Nice-to-have: experience with Visio for process mapping
