Description We are offering a long-term contract employment opportunity for an Accounts Payable Clerk in a prominent industry, located in Savannah, Georgia. As an Accounts Payable Clerk, you will be tasked with handling various accounts payable functions, including the processing of a large number of vendor invoices, employee expense reports, and payments.

Responsibilities:

• Accurately and efficiently processing a high volume of vendor invoices for payment following established procedures.

• Monitoring both email and regular mail for incoming invoices.

• Overseeing and processing Employee Expense reports.

• Setting up new vendors in the system.

• Addressing, managing, and resolving vendor and internal AP-related inquiries in a detail oriented and positive manner.

• Identifying and resolving vendor invoice discrepancies and disputes on behalf of the company.

• Ensuring timely distribution of all payments via multiple payment methods.

• Demonstrating excellent internal and external customer/vendor service and phone etiquette.

• Maintaining strong verbal, written, and business communication skills.

• Providing clerical support as needed to support the obligations of the department or the organization. Requirements • Minimum of 2 years of experience in an Accounts Payable role, preferably in the Oil & Gas industry

• Proficiency in Accounts Payable (AP) procedures and practices

• Demonstrated ability in Account Reconciliation

• Experience in Check Runs and Coding Invoices

• Strong Data Entry skills with attention to detail and accuracy

• Proven experience in Invoice Processing

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for financial analysis and reporting

• Familiarity with Oracle, QuickBooks, and SAP accounting software

• Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks concurrently

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective team collaboration.
