Job Description

Insight Global is looking to add a Secret Cleared Test Engineer to a clients program supporting USTRANSCOM. This individual will be responsible for writing test scripts and plans to ensure that software functions as expected, evaluate and design testing procedures, prepare complex data sets to test logic, error handling and system workflows. They will work with engineering groups to define, document, analyze, perform and interpret tests for products / systems / modifications. They will be involved with a variety of user testing and prepare detailed specifications from which program bugs will be corrected and follow up with additional tests to ensure proper function. This individual will implement agile testing practices, write manual and automated test scripts, and use automated testing tools within a DevSecOps environment for continuous integration and continuyous deployment. This individual will lead the migration of systems from legacy testing tools to automated and manual.

Skills and Requirements

Secret clearance (ability to obtain interim)

Bachelors degree in a related field or equivalent experience

10+ years experience in software/system testing

Extensive experience applying testing concepts and tools in a DevSecOps environment

Extensive experience applying testing tools in a cloud environments

Experience using automated tools including JUnit, GitLab, SonarQube, Cypress null
