FirstService Residential Assistant Community Manager in Scottsdale, Arizona
Job Overview:
As the Assistant Community Manager, you will be responsible for handling daily administrative tasks as well as regularly touring the neighborhood street-by-street to inspect, document, photograph and issue all violations within the community.
Compensation: $24 per hour
FirstService Residential will compensate the successful candidate in accordance with the posted range. The salary or wage paid to the successful candidate will be commensurate with experience, education, and specific job responsibilities. For positions designated at a client's property.
Key Responsibilities:
- Inspect and document community modifications and violations, ensuring compliance with community guidelines.
- Assist with administrative tasks, including service and architectural requests, payment tracking and vendor coordination.
- Attend and prepare for meetings, take minutes and organize community events.
- Handle resident and vendor inquiries, ensuring high levels of satisfaction.
- Create and maintain newsletters, memos and other community communications.
- Coordinate amenity access, including key fob management.
- Support General Manager with budgeting, financial reporting, and vendor management.
- Maintain records and ensure timely completion of work orders and requests.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build positive relationships
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and capable of learning new software
- Able to address and resolve conflicts effectively
- High attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Must pass a criminal background check and drug screening
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record required
Education & Experience:
- 3+ years of customer service experience.
- High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
- HOA or property management experience is a plus.
- Experience with Canva, Microsoft Suite, or other creation platforms desired.
Physical Requirements:
- Able to walk throughout the community and work in various weather conditions.
- Able to lift up to 20 pounds as needed.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Support General Manager in managing business affairs and ensuring policy compliance.
- Assist in preparing reports, proposals, and meeting logistics.
- Perform regular community walkthroughs and maintain organized administrative files.
- Assist with special projects and other duties as assigned.
Work Location: Cimarron Hills at McDowell Mountain Ranch; 11401 E Queens Wreath Ln, Scottsdale, AZ 85255
Work Hours: Monday – Friday, 8 AM – 5 PM with some evenings and weekends as needed for Board meetings and community events.
Travel Requirements: Regular use of personal vehicle within the community for compliance inspections and occasional corporate meetings.
