Job Description
Working closely with the CFO, you will lead and direct the AP Manager, staff accountant, and billing clerk in the timely and accurate processing of payments across a variety of disbursement workflows. You will ensure documented approvals per company policy and accurate recording. Disbursement workflows include PO and non-PO processing via Coupa and MS Dynamics (Great Plains), vendor ACH debits, vendor portal payments, credit card payments, and wires. You will also assist with month-end closing procedures, including AP accruals and other duties as assigned.
Responsibilities
Lead and direct AP Manager, staff accountant, and billing clerk in payment processing.
Ensure documented approvals per company policy and accurate recording.
Manage disbursement workflows including PO and non-PO processing via Coupa and MS Dynamics.
Oversee vendor ACH debits, vendor portal payments, credit card payments, and wires.
Assist with month-end closing procedures including AP accruals.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Essential Skills
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance with a minimum of 3-5 years of related experience.
Experience in working with different departments and cross-functional teams.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and handle divisional and local management demands.
Strong computer skills in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Experience with ERP systems, Hyperion, Smartview, and databases.
Proficient in Microsoft Office productivity applications.
Working knowledge of accounting and bookkeeping theories and practices.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience with Coupa - preferred.
Experience with MS Dynamics.
Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
Assertive problem solver with well-developed analytic and process improvement skills.
Ability to meet deadlines.
Excel pivot tables experience.
Vendor management skills.
General ledger and clerical skills.
Knowledge of ACH, bookkeeping, accounts payable, and invoice processing.
Supervisory skills.
Work Environment
This is primarily an in-office role where you will be required to sit for long periods working with computers, copiers, and telephones. Infrequent light physical effort is required. Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $90000.00 - $115000.00
