As part of the Siri Cross Device team, you'lI collaborate with a diverse and passionate group of experts dedicated to bringing Apple Intelligence to our devices. Together, we'll empower all devices to work together seamlessly and efficiently to serve user requests. We're seeking an exceptional Software Engineer to contribute to the design and implementation of Siri's cross-device intelligence.
Description
In this role, you'll be at the forefront of bringing Siri with Apple Intelligence to all our devices. You'll work on the core platform that forms the backbone of Siri and expand that foundation across devices using various networking technologies. Your responsibilities will include: - Designing, building, and maintaining Siri's core platform. - Developing cross-device system protocols to handle user requests across multiple devices. - Creating user experiences for Siri in the home, accommodating multiple users and devices.
Minimum Qualifications
M.S./B.S. or equivalent experience in Computer Science, or a related field.
5+ years of professional software engineering experience, preferably working on an end-user product.
Proficiency in programming languages such as Swift, C++, Objective C, etc.
Strong understanding of object-oriented design principles, patterns, data structures, and algorithms.
Track record of architecting performant and scalable software, ideally on-device.

At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $135,400 and $250,600, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple’s discretionary employee stock programs.
