Robert Half Compensation & Benefits Specialist in Seattle, Washington

Description We are seeking a Compensation & Benefits Specialist located in Seattle, Washington. As part of our team, you will be instrumental in the administration of employee benefits and leaves of absence. Your role will involve liaising with various departments and external entities, ensuring compliance with regulations and policies, and managing related events and processes. This role offers a short term contract employment opportunity.

Responsibilities:

• Administer employee benefits including enrollment, change reporting, and premium payment invoicing.

• Liaise with insurance brokers, union trusts, and internal departments to maintain proper insurance coverage.

• Ensure timely and accurate processing of insurance premium invoices, adhering to eligibility criteria and guidelines.

• Act as a mediator between various committees and managers to ensure retirement plans comply with the necessary guidelines and laws.

• Communicate complex benefits and leave concepts to diverse audiences through both verbal and written means.

• Evaluate benefits processes to ensure compliance with all relevant employment and benefits laws and regulations.

• Handle the execution of all employee Wellness & Benefits events, coordinating with internal stakeholders.

• Oversee and process requests for all types of leave, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and agreements.

• Collaborate with managers to provide clear information about leave rights, responsibilities, and options.

• Utilize your skills in ADP - Financial Services, ADP Workforce Now, Ceridian, Cisco Webex Meetings, CRM, Auditing, Benefit Functions, Claim Administration, Cobra Administration, and Communication to perform your duties effectively. Requirements • Demonstrable experience with ADP - Financial Services, ADP Workforce Now, Ceridian, and Cisco Webex Meetings

• Proficiency in using CRM platforms

• Proven skills in auditing processes and procedures

• Extensive knowledge of benefit functions and claim administration

• Experience with Cobra administration is essential

• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written

• Expertise in compensation and benefits management

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team

• Strategic thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field is preferred

• Relevant certification or professional qualification would be an added advantage.
