100% FTE – 40 hours per week
Day Shift – UW MEDICINE ITS SERVICES CORE HOURS ARE 07:00 – 16:00 (PST), Monday-Friday DEPARTMENT DESCRIPTION UW Medicine IT Services (ITS) is a shared services organization that supports all of UW Medicine. UW Medicine is comprised of Harborview Medical Center (HMC), UW Medical Center-Montlake Campus (UWMC-Montlake), UW Medical Center-Northwest Campus (UWMC-NW), Valley Medical Center (VMC), UW Medicine Primary Care (UWMPC), UW Physicians (UWP), UW School of Medicine (SOM), and Airlift Northwest (ALNW). ITS is responsible for the ongoing support and maintenance of the infrastructure and applications which support all these institutions, along with the implementation of new services and applications that are used to support and further the UW Medicine mission.

100% matching, 100% immediately vesting 403(b) PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Providing immediate to advanced level data-related questions, ad-hoc Tableau and SQL reports, and developing and/or updating business logic reports
Maintaining continuity of data, delivery, and connections
Facilitating timely changes on preexisting logic to provide more immediate availability
Investigating intermediate to advanced level data connection issues, prioritizing, and resolving via defined service level agreements
Aligning with larger program office process to deliver services and communicating CTMS Program Office priorities to RIT leadership
Performing tier 2 and lower-end tier 3 support tickets
Participating in Program Office process meetings to fully understand context when working under the advisement of and being mentored by Senior Analysts REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field or equivalent education and/or experience.
3+ years of experience to include:
3+ year(s) of experience with end user support in an IT domain
2+ year(s) of research experience, preferably in the clinical domain
Strong database programming experience, including complex query optimization and performance tuning
Extensive experience with formal software engineering practices (e.g., source code version control, validation, deployment, maintaining Microsoft-based applications, etc.)
Strong object-oriented programming skills using an integrated development environment like Visual Studio .NET
Extensive experience with requirements gathering and analysis, including direct work with end users or customers
Strong understanding of database design
Strong problem solving and debugging skills
Strong experience working with multiple APIs
Strong experience juggling multiple system instances/environments (i.e. test, training, development, and production)
Strong experience assisting team members and sharing knowledge, with exposure to mentoring others
Demonstrated knowledge of database structures, data definitions, and data relationships
Strong experience with formal project management methods
Strong experience supporting small scale enterprise customers, both internal and external
