Amazon Executive Assistant, AWS Hardware Engineering Services in Seattle, Washington
Description
Amazon is seeking an exceptionally bright, multitasking and self-motivated individual to support the Vice President of AWS Hardware Engineering Services. The Executive Assistant will act as an extension of their leader, and will work closely with other Executive Assistants throughout the AWS EC2 team and across the rest of the company.
This exciting role requires superior attention to detail, the ability to meet tight deadlines, great organizational skills, and the ability to juggle multiple critical requests. A high level of integrity and discretion in handling confidential information, and professionalism in dealing with senior professionals inside and outside the company is important.
The candidate will possess the ability to complete complex tasks and projects quickly with little to no guidance, react with appropriate urgency to situations that require a quick turnaround, and take effective action without having to know the total picture. The individual in this role will need to understand business priorities, demonstrate the ability to proactively anticipate needs, and drive improvements to build capacity for their leaders, and their team.
Key job responsibilities
Includes (but is not limited to):
• Exceptional management of a high paced, complex calendar and scheduling requirements
• Track and help drive completion of key deliverables and following up on outstanding items
• Understand business priorities and build processes to make the overall organization more effective
• Space management
• Manage domestic travel
• Complete and file expense reports
• Assist with organizing and executing team engagement initiatives
• Have fun at work and help others do the same!

Basic Qualifications
5+ years of senior level leadership support, or 3+ years of Amazon experience
Experience with executive level calendar management
Experience with Microsoft Office products and applications
High school or equivalent diploma
Preferred Qualifications
Experience leading process improvements
Experience in a fast-paced, high-tech company
Experience designing processes to maximize efficiency

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $66,800/year in our lowest geographic market up to $142,800/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
