Maintenance Technician

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Maintenance Technician to provide leadership and support to staff and contractors with maintenance and project tasks. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying and recommending maintenance or safety needs, coordinating and executing specific tasks, and maintaining company vehicles, equipment, and tools. This role involves heat-related work, particularly in HVAC systems, and requires the ability to troubleshoot and perform basic maintenance tasks.

Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership to staff and contractors with maintenance and projects as assigned.

  • Identify and recommend maintenance or safety needs through company process.

  • Coordinate, organize, and execute specific tasks as directed.

  • Maintain company vehicles, equipment, and tools.

  • Effectively delegate to and support Tech 1 functions.

  • Maintain a personal and reliable vehicle for work-related transportation.

Essential Skills

  • Experience as a maintenance technician.

  • Ability to troubleshoot thermostats and listen to relays in HVAC systems.

  • Knowledge of building systems, construction methods, and property management practices.

  • Ability to operate heavy equipment.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.

  • Experience in property management.

Work Environment

The position is located in Bellevue (near downtown) and North Seattle, with a schedule of Monday-Friday, 7 am-4pm.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $35.00/hr.
