The opportunity to work a hybrid schedule or remotely from your home office may be available at the discretion of the Company. The ideal candidate should have 10+ years of experience developing complex and innovative coastal engineering solutions. The preferred candidate will assimilate into our Coastal Engineering and Waterfront Development teams nationwide to provide engineering and client support on complex projects. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Provide subject matter expertise (SME) for structural design and engineering of marine infrastructure projects such as bulkheads, wharfs, bridge pilings, harbors, docks, breakwaters, and shoreline protection systems. Conduct structural analysis, modeling, and design of marine and waterfront structures to ensure stability, safety, and compliance with regulatory standards. Support project teams with technical input during all project phases, including planning, design, construction, and maintenance. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop innovative and sustainable solutions tailored to client needs. Assist in preparing technical proposals, cost estimates, and project schedules to support business development efforts. Lead and review structural calculations, technical drawings, and specifications to maintain quality standards. Mentor and train junior engineers, fostering technical growth and professional development. Stay updated on advancements in marine engineering practices, tools, and technologies, integrating best practices into project work. Engage with clients and stakeholders to present design concepts, technical reports, and project updates. Overnight travel: 30 - 50% Education and Licensure Bachelor's degree in civil, structural, marine engineering, or related field. (required) Advanced degree. (preferred) Professional Engineer license.
