Gannett Fleming, Inc. Senior Construction Inspector in Seattle, Washington

What You Will Do: As Gannett Fleming continues to expand our client and project portfolio in the West Region, we are excited to identify an experienced Senior Construction Inspector throughout the greater Seattle Area. This position is responsible for reporting directly to construction sites to observe and document contractor's work conforms to contract requirements, maintaining project files/documentation, compiling and calculating quantities of work performed to be used in calculating monthly contractor payments, and interacting with clients on a regular basis. Principal Responsibilities and essential functions Prepare Daily Reports Prepare Project Progress Reports Monitor Quality Control Testing Measure Quantities Monitor Contractor Progress Assist with Payment Applications and Change Orders Assist with Project Filing System Perform Constructability Reviews Address Technical issues in the field Inspection Team Leader Education | Experience: Education and Licensing requirements High School Degree Associates Degree in related field recommended NICET IV Certification Preferred ACI Field Testing Certification Preferred Minimum 3 additional industry related certifications. Training, Skills, Knowledge and/or experience 10-14 years Proficiency with MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook) OSHA Safety Training Good communication skills Must possess a driver's license to fulfill the essential functions of the position Additional Notes Other duties may be assigned as necessary. Work outdoors year-round and sometimes in difficult weather conditions. May be required to work in confined spaces. Travel to work sites for an extended period of time may be required. Must be able to sit or stand for extended periods of time. Must be able to independently travel and be physically present in the office or at a client site.
