Amazon Senior Program Manager - WW Ops Legal, NA Operations and Robotics in Seattle, Washington

Description

Work hard, have fun, and make history with Amazon’s legal team. Amazon's legal department is looking for a talented Senior Program Manager to help our legal Program Management Organization with tool and technology related workstreams aimed at identifying new key functionalities, developing trainings, creating knowledge-sharing mechanisms, and supporting the Operations legal teams in a variety of project-based initiatives.

A successful candidate will be able to work efficiently and independently in a fast-paced environment, communicate clearly and effectively both verbally and in writing, manage high volumes of tasks and projects with little guidance, react with appropriate urgency to situations and events that require a quick response or turnaround, take effective action without knowing the whole picture, think creatively and strategically, exercise strong judgment, and be proactive and innovative in solving problems that affect customers. The candidate will also be customer-service oriented and have great attention to detail while still meeting tight deadlines, strong organizational skills, and the ability to easily switch gears. A high level of professionalism, integrity, and discretion in handling confidential information, as well as the ability to work well with people at all levels are essential.

Key job responsibilities

  • Managing various legal-based programming and projects

  • Coordinating across our team of PMs

  • Working with internal legal tech teams

  • Creating and managing centralized learning resources for legal team members and their business clients

  • Exploring new tech tools and AI resources. In addition to this, they will help develop internal legal goals, advise on process improvement and simplification, and conduct data reporting and metrics analysis with key legal leaders.

Basic Qualifications

  • 5+ years of program or project management experience

  • Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements

  • Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership

Preferred Qualifications

  • 2+ years of driving process improvements experience

  • Master's degree, or Bachelor's degree in business, operations, human resources, adult education, organizational development, instructional design or related field

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $104,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $185,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
