WHAT WE CAN ACHIEVE TOGETHER
Help make our planet healthier, one post at a time! The Social Media Content Intern will be responsible for supporting the organic social media team with the creation of social media content specific to emerging social platforms. The intern will identify innovative content styles, conduct platform research, and create a series of educational and entertaining social media posts.
By using their research skills and understanding of platform trends, this position plays an important role in contributing to TNC's global social media strategy. The intern will be a member of the Global Digital team.
As the Social Media Content Intern, you will:
- Identify innovative content styles that can be used to increase engagement
- Create a series of social media posts, with a special focus on Threads, Bluesky and Instagram/Facebook Stories
- Turn complex messaging about climate change and biodiversity into compelling content that is easy to understand
- Gain familiarity with TNC's social media management software to organize and schedule content.
- Research social media trends, emerging platforms and opportunities to grow TNC's audience
- Support the execution of the team's weekly social media content calendar
