Software Development Engineer in Test [SDET] Sr:
- Develops, maintains, and executes automated test scripts, performance tests and metrics, and manual testing as needed.
- Strategize and execute end to end integration and performance testing for various complex programs and initiatives.
- Perform gap analysis of current state of automation frameworks, functional testing process and testing infrastructure across products and strategizing future state of automation framework with a roadmap.
- Evangelize, strategize, introduce and implement automation and performance testing frameworks to support integration SOA web services.
- Write functional and automated/performance tests and test harnesses application and services under test.
- Write and review test strategies, test plans and test cases based on the agile stories and/or product requirements.
- Interact with SDETs, QA members and technical leaders to understand systems and component specifications and recommend changes to facilitate efficient and effective testing.
- Advances and improves automation and performance framework design features and implements automated/performance test suites and test cases within that framework.
- Participates in tool analysis, creates proof of concept models, and makes recommendations to support the tools selection process.
- Creates and manufactures test data needed for execution or database population.
Telecommuting permitted up to 100% from anywhere in the US.
Full time employment, Monday -- Friday, 40 hours per week. Pay Range: $152,443 - $160,600 per year.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field, plus 5 years of progressive, post-bachelor's experience in a software quality assurance engineering or related role.
Must have 5 years of experience in quality assurance practices for both Agile and Iterative SDLC.
Must have 4 years of experience in quality assurance metrics and defect management.
Must have 4 years of experience in quality assurance testing related to release management.
Must have 4 years of experience in testing big data platform and models.
Must have 3 years of experience in performance testing.
Must have 2 years of experience in object-oriented development programming.
Must have 2 years of experience in developing or working with commercial or open source automation tools and frameworks.
Must have 1 year of experience in testing applications on cloud infrastructure, including Azure or AWS.
Must have 1 year of experience in Java or Python.
Must have 1 year of experience working in distributed SOA environments.
