Who we're looking for:

The Visibility team in EXP.O NOW is looking for a self-starter who will use their technical experience to embrace the Agile Product Owner role and will serve as the customer proxy responsible for working with product management, technical stakeholders and is the primary link to business and technology strategy.

The ideal candidate for this position must be detail oriented with strong communication, organization, and facilitation skills, is a problem solver, technically savvy, and can build relationships with their agile teams, product management, customers, and stakeholders. They must also have a keen understanding of customer empathy and customer value proposition while also being comfortable with ambiguity and using their technical knowledge to guide the ongoing development of their product to achieve customer satisfaction.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Build, refine, and prioritize your team's backlog in alignment with the program vision and roadmap

  • Collaborate with product management and program stakeholders, translate business/functional requirements into easily understandable technical requirements that are deemed ready for development, and communicate those details to various technical and non-technical audiences

  • Perform analysis on new feature development for our business applications

  • Create/understand system integration diagrams and perform gap analysis

  • Create objectives that your team follows to ensure delivery of business value

  • Create User Stories that define acceptance criteria

  • Ensure the team's output meets the user's needs and complies with the Definition of Done

  • Prepare team by participating in/leading SAFe ceremonies, such as backlog refinement, PI planning and system demos

  • Collaborate with your development team to analyze and document ways to better improve our applications with security and efficiency in mind

  • Collaborate with your development team to provide a user-centered perspective and ensure that business value is being met

  • Collaborate with other Product Owners to resolve dependencies, coordinate efforts, and deliver cross-functional initiatives and technical enablers. Represent the team at Product Owner check-ins and pass relevant information back to the team

This position is on-site and will reside in the greater Seattle, WA. area at one of the following locations depending on availability. Candidates must be local or willing to relocate. Relocation assistance is not offered for this position.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • 3+ years of experience as a Product Owner and 5+ years in a related technical role

  • 5+ years of business and/or systems analysis experience

  • Strong agile leadership; Experience in a software development environment with Agile Development practices including Scrum and SAFe

  • Experience in creating and presenting complex business and technical concepts to a broad range of audiences

  • Effective at navigating ambiguity and helping diverse teams drive toward clarity and consensus

  • Excellent time management, organization skills, and the ability to manage competing priorities

  • Outstanding verbal and written communication

  • Ability to compose concepts, ideas, and designs into actionable/measurable deliverables

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience with Logistics, Brokerage, and/or Transportation Industry

  • Certification in Leading SAFe and/or Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) and experience working as part of a technical development team

  • Previous experience working with SQL

  • Working knowledge of Azure DevOps, SharePoint, and Visio

  • Passion for technology

Expected base salary:  $100,000 to $145,000
