Job Description

As a Mechanic Helper, you will assist in the servicing and repairs of overhead cranes. You will travel with a small team to client sites to service the equipment. You must be willing to take direction, follow instructions, and be comfortable with heights as you will be climbing ladders to work on overhead cranes. Proficiency in using hand and power tools is essential.

Responsibilities

Essential Skills

• Experience with hand and power tools.

• Ability to pass required training modules.

Work Environment

You will report to a supervisor and work Monday to Friday from 7:30 am to 5:30 pm, with the possibility of extended hours depending on job requirements. Weekend work is very rare. The job involves travel to client facilities, including oil and gas shops and manufacturing environments. The dress code includes steel toe boots, work pants, and a t-shirt suitable for a hands-on, dirty work environment. The company operates on a 24/7 on-call basis, with typical working hours ranging from 40 to 65 hours per week. When working out of town, accommodations and per diem are provided.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Selma, Texas.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
