Amentum Senior Electrical Engineer in Severn, Maryland
Are you an emerging authority in electrical engineering? Do you have a passion for electrical design of custom electronics-leading electronics from the concept to prototype to qualification testing and finally to production? Sound interesting? You would be joining a close-knit radar systems development team that has developed and fielded novel and innovative high-resolution ground-based, airborne, and orbital radar systems. We have the corporate investment, infrastructure, subject matter experts, and strategic focus to enable you to be successful.
Bachelor's (or equivalent) with 8-10 years of experience, or a Master's (preferred) with 6-8 years of experience.
Schematic Capture and Layout using Altium or similar tools.
Experience with board bring up and testing.
Experience integrating and testing boards as part of a larger system
Experience with performance simulation and modeling
Ability to work in a dynamic environment with cross-functional teams.
Ability to support multiple projects simultaneously.
Effective time management and prioritization skills.
Excellent communication and documentation skills.
Works well as a part of a team.
Good problem-solving skills.
Good interpersonal skills.
Must be able to plan and execute multiple technical tasks concurrently.
