This individual will participate in the validation of tests, inspections, processing methods and materials qualifications. This position requires the employee to perform a wide variety of Quality Control functions.Job ResponsibilitiesKeep the plant in compliance with EH&S regulationsPerform Silica testing to keep us in compliance required by OSHA ConductPerform daily compressive strength testing of hardened concrete specimensMonitor production operations as requiredAssist when necessary with strip, setup, and pouring of productsPerform daily pre/post pour inspections on productsNotify supervisor of nonconforming product or problems with machine, materials, etc.Communicate production issues with plant Supervisor as neededReview product for inconsistencies or abnormal appearance assuring product meets quality requirementsOther duties and responsibilities may be assigned as neededJob RequirementsHigh school degree required; Associates Degree preferredAbility to read and interpret instructions and operations manuals and follow step by step instructionsAdequate computer skillsAbility to lift objects weighing up to 50 pounds eachExperience with lab and testing procedures preferredExperience with safety programs and complianceSome experience working in a manufacturing environment preferredSome mechanical aptitude or experience with production processing equipment preferredSome experience working with EH&S programs/agenciesEndure intermittent bending, crouching, pushing, pulling, stooping and reachingStanding for extended period of timeCompensationBase pay of $23.55What CRH Offers YouHighly competitive base payComprehensive medical, dental and disability benefits programsGroup retirement savings programHealth and wellness programsA diverse and inclusive culture that values opportunity for growth, development, and internal promotionAbout CRHCRH has a long and proud heritage.
