What You'll Do:
As a Memory Care Director, you will provide compassionate, high-quality care for seniors living with Alzheimer’s and other forms of dementia in a safe, engaging, and nurturing environment. You will oversee the daily operations of our memory care unit, ensuring a person-centered approach to care. You will be responsible for developing and implementing innovative programs, training and mentoring staff, and fostering a warm, supportive environment that enhances residents’ quality of life. Your leadership will drive excellence in dementia care, compliance with regulations, and collaboration with families to provide individualized support for their loved ones.
Key Responsibilities of a Memory Care Director:
Develop, implement, and oversee engaging memory care programs tailored to residents’ cognitive, social, and physical needs.
Collaborate with clinical staff to create and monitor personalized care plans.
Recruit, train, and mentor a team of caregivers, ensuring they are well-equipped with dementia-specific knowledge and skills.
Conduct regular staff training on Alzheimer’s and dementia care, behavioral management, and person-centered approaches.
Serve as a liaison and resource for families, providing support, education, and guidance throughout their loved one’s journey.
Maintain accurate documentation and oversee care plans in accordance with healthcare regulations.
Work closely with leadership and interdisciplinary teams to enhance program effectiveness and overall resident satisfaction.

What You'll Bring:
Qualifications of a Memory Care Director:
Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, recreational therapy, nursing, social work, gerontology, or a related field (preferred).
Certification in Dementia Care (preferred).
Minimum of 3 years of experience in memory care, dementia care, recreation therapy, or senior living management.
Strong leadership skills with experience in staff training and development.
Deep understanding of dementia care techniques, including person-centered and behavioral interventions.
Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
Ability to foster relationships with residents, families, staff, and community partners.
Knowledge of state and federal regulations related to long-term care and memory care.
