ManpowerGroup Assembler in Sheboygan Falls, Wisconsin

Our client,a manufacturer of disposable hygiene machining & converting equipment is seeking a 2nd shift Mechanical Assembler to join their team. As a Mechanical Assembler, you will be part of the Manufacturing group supporting the build of machines The ideal candidate will have good mechanical aptitude, solid mathematical skills and use of hand tools which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: 2nd shift Mechanical Assembler

Location: Sheboygan, WI

Pay Range: $18-23/hr

What’s the Job?

  • Reads and follows entry-level blueprints, shop orders, specifications, and other instructions in order to build and assemble parts and equipment

  • Measures parts accurately using scales, micrometers, and calipers.

  • Utilize overhead crane and rigging procedures.

  • Prepares parts for painting.

  • Requires mathematical skills that require the ability to add, subtract, multiply, divide, and make metric system conversions

What’s Needed?

  • High School diploma

  • Ability to read and understand blueprints and other manufacturing instructions.

  • Knowledge and ability to use hand tools and machine tools such as drill press, band saw, cut-off saw and grinder.

  • Ability to navigate CAD documents preferred.

  • Basic knowledge of carpentry, electrical, and pneumatics a plus.
