Associate Brand Manager

You will lead initiatives on leading brands within one of our various segments of business – lighters, stationery, and shave. What You'll Do:

  • Support senior brand manager by managing day to day business operations such as budget management, sku rationalization, and assortment optimization

  • Lead internal design team and external agencies in portfolio graphic refreshes

  • Actively participate in the creation of campaigns, brand content, and brand promotions

  • Develop and execute all marketing support programs such as social, consumer promotions, PR, and shopper marketing

  • Lead selling materials for sales team, such as price lists, promotional calendars and sell sheets

  • Serve as category and brand expert, being the one stop shop for POS trends, by leading analysis to monitor performance and uncover insights that will drive future business opportunities

  • Work in partnership with Sales and Category Development to adjust plans and assortment to react to market conditions and gain shelf space

  • 2 days onsite in Shelton, CT; 3 days remote

What You'll Need:

  • Bachelors’ Degree in related field, MBA preferred

  • 2 - 4 years’ experience in CPG marketing or sales

  • Strong interpersonal, problem solving, and presentation skills

  • Knowledge of syndicated data sources preferred (Circana, Nielsen, InfoScout) and ability to translate data to solution

  • Demonstrate leadership and organizational skills; especially the ability to lead cross functional teams to deliver project objectives
