Job Title: Maintenance Electrician

Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Maintenance Electrician to work directly with the supervisor to conduct preventative maintenance, routine, and emergency repairs on equipment and plant structures. A significant part of the job involves servicing and repairing robot welders. The ideal candidate will be multi-crafted with both mechanical and electrical skills. Recent repair work includes chillers, motor swaps, process water systems, air compressors, piece changes on robots, facilities work, conveyor upkeep, and more.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct preventative maintenance on equipment and plant structures.

  • Perform routine and emergency repairs.

  • Service and repair robot welders.

  • Repair chillers, motor swaps, process water systems, and air compressors.

  • Conduct piece changes on robots and conveyor upkeep.

  • Handle facilities work and other mechanical and electrical tasks as needed.

Essential Skills

  • Experience with robotics, preferably robotic welding (95% Fanuc).

  • AC/DC drives troubleshooting.

  • Pneumatics.

  • Bending conduit.

  • Heavy electrical experience.

  • Ability to read blueprints and schematics.

  • Experience with hydraulics.

  • Strong maintenance repair skills.

  • Proficiency in electrical troubleshooting.

  • Experience with preventive maintenance.

  • Knowledge of AC/DC motor control.

  • PLC troubleshooting skills.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • 2-4 years of industrial maintenance experience.

  • Mechanical and electrical troubleshooting experience is a must.

  • Robotics experience is a plus but not required; training will be provided.

  • Preferred experience in the automotive industry.

  • Must have all tools according to the tool list.

  • Maintenance degree preferred.

Work Environment

Our team environment is climate-controlled in a newer (2016) and exceptionally clean facility, free of presses which helps maintain cleanliness. We have openings for 2nd shift (2:30pm-10:40pm, Mon-Fri) and 3rd shift (10:30pm-6:40am, Sun-Thurs).
