Texas Instruments Equipment Technician - Night Shifts (Sherman, Texas) in Sherman, Texas
Texas Instruments is looking for experienced Equipment Technicians to join our team at our newest 300mm factory in Sherman, Texas. In this role, you will perform preventative maintenance, equipment repairs, equipment improvements, equipment upgrades, and equipment installation. You will interface and communicate with engineering and manufacturing groups across the fab to ensure all issues are solved appropriately and efficiently. These roles will be in be in the following modules: Epi, Implant, Diffusion, Wet, CMP, Photo, Metrology, Plasma, TF or RTP.
Responsibilities include:
Improve system performance to achieve process requirements and eliminate repetitive downs
Monitor and analyze all related data to improve and maintain tool performance and address all tool related issues
Identify and repair issues using a systematic thought process to address root cause. Document and communicate lessons learned through this process.
Coordinate supplier service and repairs where needed
Prepare the technical report and summary findings and recommending solutions to technical problems

Minimum requirements:
High School diploma/GED
18 years of age or older
3 years of equipment technician experience within a 300mm factory in at least one of the following areas: Epi, Implant, Diffusion, Wet, CMP, Photo, Metrology, Plasma, TF or RTP
Ability to work 12 hour compressed work schedule
Flexible to work day or night shift that will include one weekend shift and holidays
Preferred qualifications:
Self-driven with ability to identify and resolve issues to improve equipment performance
Good troubleshooting skills on electrical/mechanical systems
Excellent organizational, teaming and troubleshooting skills
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Demonstrated strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
