We are seeking a motivated and Heavy Highway Civil Project Field Engineer to oversee New Mexico DOT projects

STARTING PAY$85,000 to $100,000 annually (based on experience)

Minimum Qualifications and Skills:

• Personal and Professional
• Minimum 2 years in the construction industry
• Ability to communicate and take direction
• Must have good references from: previous Owner and Employer
• Must be a resident of the United States
• Valid Drivers License and insurable driving record

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES including but not limited to:

• Oversee and assists the management team with daily project tasks
• Provide accurate and timely reports to superintendent from the jobsite.
• Ensure tasks comply with project specifications, specials and plans
• Attend and participate in various meetings
• Review and comprehend construction drawings
• Review and comprehend soil reports
• Review and comprehend contracts
• Assist with pre planning activities
• Assist with project documentation and daily reports
• Identify risks and problems
• Develop and provide possible solutions
• Perform other duties as assigned

Work during normal operating hours to organize and complete work within given deadlines. Work overtime and weekends as required.
