We are currently looking for a Regional Compression Leader for our Shreveport, LA office.

POSITION DESCRIPTION:

This position will be responsible for providing daily support and troubleshooting assistance at Texas Gas and Gulf South locations primarily in the West Region, along with managing various capital and maintenance projects on turbines, centrifugal compressors, reciprocating engines, and unit ancillary equipment. The successful applicant’s work location will be one of the field or office locations within the specified geographic region.

REQUIRED SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, AND EXPERIENCE:

• 3 years’ experience in compressor station operations & maintenance, including turbine and reciprocating engines

• Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills

• A basic knowledge of pneumatic and electronic controls

• Strong computer skills, proven leadership abilities, project management capabilities, good written and verbal communications skills.

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word

• The ability to work independently without direct supervision, to maintain good working relationships with company personnel and external contractors, and to share knowledge with others.

• A strong work ethic with demonstrated initiative.

• A strong commitment to personal and team safety.

• Valid driver’s license with safe driving record.

• Ability to travel up to 30% of the time

  PREFERRED SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, AND EXPERIENCE:

• 10+ years’ experience in compressor station operations & maintenance, including turbines, reciprocating engines, and electric motor drives.

• High speed compressor package experience

• Previous supervisory experience

• Working knowledge of Oracle EBS for Inventory, Payable Reporting, Projects, and Purchasing

• Previous experience in project estimating, master service agreements, scope of work documents, and project scheduling

  REQUIRED EDUCATION:

• High School Diploma or equivalent

  PREFERRED EDUCATION:

• Associates or Bachelor’s Degree
