Job Title: Substation Designer

Job Description

Large Utility Engineering Consulting firm is looking to add multiple electrical designers to their substation engineering team. The individual who fills this role will be responsible for implementing conceptual design packages in support of physical substation and protection/controls packages. They will take direction from lead engineers on what needs to be designed inside of the substation fence, design those packages to meet client standards, and make corrections as needed.

Hard Skills

• Substation designing experience

• Protection and controls design

• Physical substation equipment design

• Computer-aided design software ability

Work Site

This is a fully remote position, occasionally site visits depending on location.

Ability to work fully remote for established engineers with the right skillset!They have offices in Silver Spring, MD; Atlanta, GA; Hartford, CT; Albany, NY; and Reading, PA. Candidates can sit out of these offices as well and junior level candidates may be asked to work a hybrid schedule!About Actalent
