Job Title: TIG Welder

What You'll Do:

• Perform TIG welding to create strong joints on structures like bridges, automotive bodies, and building frameworks

• Operate specialized hand and power tools such as arc welders, grinders, and buffing machines

• Select and install torch tips, filler rods, and flux based on the thickness of the metal materials

• Adjust gas flow and pressure using gas cylinder gauges or valves

• Read and interpret welding codes and blueprints to ensure accurate welds

• Conduct tests on welds to ensure they are clean, free of errors, and meet relevant welding codes

• Ensure all welding operations comply with safety guidelines

• Oversee and train less experienced welders to maintain high welding standards

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $30.00/hr.
