Position Overview

Autodesk Identity and Access Management team is seeking a skilled and highly motivated individual who loves to find and develop efficient, scalable, and thoughtful solutions to various technical and product challenges. As a team member, you will have the opportunity to work with the team that builds Autodesk’s Identity Access Management Platform. The service is one of the key business enablers serving millions of Autodesk customers daily. It is leveraged by over 150 Autodesk desktop, mobile, and web applications, as well as cloud services and a growing third-party developer ecosystem for managing user authentication and authorization.

Responsibilities

  • Work as a Software Engineer Intern and a member of a self-organized agile team that builds, owns, and runs the service as a platform to enable the Enterprise Single Sign-On feature for Autodesk's enterprise customers

  • Design, build, maintain, and own the cloud service

  • Assist in the operation of the service, e.g., monitoring, alerting, metrics, logging, and troubleshooting

  • Work closely with senior engineers, architects, and product owners

  • Take end-to-end ownership of services, including debugging complex technical issues involving multiple systems and components

Minimum Qualifications

  • You must be enrolled in a full-time Bachelor's program in Computer Science, Engineering, or another relevant field

  • You must either be in your penultimate or final year of studies, and will be graduating in 2025 or 2026

  • A good understanding of OOP and its implementation in relevant programming languages such as Go, Java, C++, C#, Python, or others

  • Familiar with web services, including REST

  • Internship period: May - October 2025 or July - December 2025

Preferred Qualifications

  • Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills

  • Committed to quality, including security and performance

  • Solid analysis and critical thinking

  • Good understanding in system or software testing best practices, automated build, and test cases

  • Ability to convey complex messages in a clear and understandable manner, both written and spoken

  • Good foundation in system/software performance metrics, especially in web application

  • Experience with cloud-native application development

  • Good understanding of cloud infrastructure, especially in AWS
