POSITION: Premium Seating Manager

DEPARTMENT: Executive

REPORTS TO: Assistant General Manager

FLSA STATUS: Salaried, Exempt

Summary

ASM Global, the leader in privately managed public assembly facilities has an excellent and immediate opening for a Premium Seating Manager at the Denny Sanford PREMIER Center. The Premium Seating Manager reports to the Assistant General Manager and oversees all event service and operation activities for luxury suites and premium seating. This position is responsible for providing the best customer service possible to the Club Seat holders, Suite holders and Loge Box holders; retaining their support and keep them renewing their contracts; and managing, recruiting, scheduling, coordinating, training and deploying Premium Level staff for all events at the facility.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Manages concierge during specific events to resolve customer-related issues.

  • Gains knowledge of Suite/Loge clientele to provide excellent customer service.

  • Works in conjunction with the Box Office to build and manage the ticketing of premium seating.

  • Determines availability and pricing on an event-by-event basis for additional premium seating.

  • Plans and monitors Club Members’ special events and gifts regarding suite and seat holders.

  • Trains and manages all event concierge staff.

  • Responsible for developing, implementing and overseeing all service and operation policies, procedures and programs.

  • Assists in the development and coordination of premium food and beverage functions.

  • Administers premium services that includes VIP parking and related tailgate parking.

  • Assists in the development and coordination of special events and value-added programs for Club members & Suite Holders.

  • Serves as a liaison with other event staff affecting the suite levels, including Security, Operations, Event Services, Food & Beverage departments and teams.

  • Provides on-going communication and problem resolution to customers throughout the events and daily contact on issues dealing with event announcements, account changes, suite décor and maintenance.

  • Monitors and implements suite inventory and major maintenance of suites.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Managing responsibilities include overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of these above-mentioned functions with the Premium Level staff.

  • Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws.

Qualifications:

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration and/or other degree related to Public Relations and Hospitality.

  • Minimum of 2-3 years management experience in customer service with excellent communication skills.

  • Minimum of 1 year industry related experience.

Skills, Abilities, and Physical Demands:

  • Ability to work extended and/or irregular hours including nights, weekends and holidays, as needed

  • Ability to work independently, exercising judgement and initiative

  • Ability to climb steps and to walk extensively throughout the facility
