Otter Tail Corporation Service Representative in Sisseton, South Dakota

Description

We have an opening for a Service Representative in Sisseton.

Applicants must be sufficiently qualified as a Journeyman Lineman with a minimum of four years of experience and be able to do necessary emergency repair work. Must have knowledge of electric line construction, maintenance, and repair. Must be able to assume responsibilities for area operations, maintain favorable public relations, and supervise and instruct assistants as necessary. Must have a valid unrestricted interstate commercial driver’s license. Successful applicant will be expected to reside within 25 miles of permanent headquarters in Sisseton.

Operates the electrical distribution system and serves as the Company representative in the designated group of towns. Installs, removes or replaces meters in customer establishments. Installs and maintains service lines, receiving customer complaints and performing necessary repair work to overhead distribution or service facilities. Works with and cooperates with Line and Service, Division Crews, or other line crews in building and repairing distribution and transmission lines and facilities.
